A Journey through Grief Toward Hope
My journey on the road toward hope began while I was consumed by grief—I just didn’t realize it at the time. It was a journey filled with pain and beauty, love and loss, death and life.
The Butterfly Years chronicles my personal experience through grief after the death of six family members, including the loss of both my parents and stepparents within a very short timeframe.
It's a raw and vulnerable share. I share my lessons learned along the way to show a different perspective on grief and mourning.
It was cathartic to write, and I have heard from many going through their own grief, that it's been comforting and cathartic to read.
The truth is we are not alone on this journey, although it can feel very lonely and hopeless at times.
This book is about hope, and the journey to get there from grief. I hope you find it helpful, and hopeful.
